the argument is petty, especially since ECM sold the beastie boys the
rights to the sample. i wonder why newton isnt sueing ECM as well. has
anyone found documentation of the contracts between ECM/Newton, and
then ECM/Beastie Boys?
Wobbly, congrats on getting out 'WildWhy', did you have to deal with
any copywrite issues before releasing it? are you anticipating any problems
now that it's out?

also recently the guy who was sued by the cage estate settled for six
figures acting like it was a donation. i'm not sure what to make of
that one. he could have easily argued his silence was a parody of
