Is this not a violation of copyright, just as fan edits are (the phantom
edit etc)? I seem to remember seeing on the news mabye a year or two ago
about a religious guy (in the US) who was doing much this same thing in a
simpler fashion with trimmed videotapes, who got injucted by the big
studios. I would have thought if the directors are so furious they should be
able to attack Trilogy with IP law.

digitally altering movies on DVD in order to censor
them; making them non-violent/sex/bad-language enough
