yeah it's amazing, I've been listening to them non-stop, ever since my
idiotic scree about what a disappointing turn they are. in so many cases
they're such radical improvements, that christina strokes thing is so more
than the sum of the parts...

also playing them at the office, I must admit they had the power to shock.
Playing 'smells like booty' for someone, his reaction was 'wait -- is this
REAL?' very odd thing to say about something that is obviously happening.
Authenticity challenged yay.

when they work, it's incredible; the brilliant juxtaposition is in itself
the factor. plus there's a lot of engineering involved, pitch shifting,
endless nudging to make sure it doesn't just 'fit' but that it 'works'

'I did this in 1975 but never put it out as I didn't find the results
interesting'. ha ha. ha. well we could bring this up on
