There's music sale website I found at
www.atrecordings.com that allows you
play any of the cds IN THEIR ENTIRETY via
Real Audio before you decide whether to
buy them or not.
They sell mostly independent artist material,
but still...they're banking on the try-before-you-buy
principle, realizing that compressed audio is not
a substitute for the actual album. I realize the quality
differs from standard 128 bit mp3's, but still, their
approach is worth mention with all these Napster
debates lately.
