It was just forwarded to me by a friend who's sent me chain e-mails in the
past (Started in 1887? I didn't know they had e-mail back then!). When I
read the comments (real?) about the silliness of chain letters I read on.
The more I read the funnier it got.

Is it possible that even the author of a chain e-mail could be so uniquely
inept? I find it hard to imagine it's unintentional and written by one
individual, although it may have been compiled by a single person. I
suppose one could ask "margieanne", who is the earliest (Sun, 17 Oct 1999
21:40:53) forwarder still on the message, where she got it. (Anyone ever
hear of a "DJ HYPNOTiC"?)

I've thought of composing my own chain e-mail wherein forwarding it would
produce the bad luck and breaking the chain would produce the good luck. Or
where the results were ambivalent and confusing. (Looks like someone's
already done that one!) It'd be interesting to see if it would survive and
be passed on. After all, who would want to "pay the consucusies"?

Do you think maybe some of us should continue the collage e-mail's chain not
for good luck in love but for it's subversive value?
