First off: I posted a while ago about a jazz piece I'd recently
acquired with musique concrete in it, and some people were interested to
hear it -- so here's your chance:

Two qualities of mp3 to choose from with full liner notes. Enjoy.
About tools for making your own collage music: I think the previous
responses have pretty much covered the essentials. I will add that doing
razor edits with reel tape is MIGHTY tedious, and can certainly dissuade
the beginner from further efforts... though I suppose it also separates the
wheat from the chaff, y'know? Which makes me "chaff" since I haven't done a
tape splice for years now, in preference to digital editing. My PC
preference is Cool Edit Pro... capable, effect-laiden, and multitrackable.
But like Otis suggests, using a variety of programs is probably the best
solution...

It is indeed a super program, but mainly for making 4/4 beat-oriented
music. As its subtitle says, it's best for "loop-based music production",
aka techno. Once you've made music with it, you can identify other music
done by it pretty easily. Still, I've made a few things with it that ended
up on CD compilations and whatever and I like the program a lot.

Quite correct; about 96%.
