Sao Paulo Outlaws All Outdoor Advertising

I can't believe it. This is the best news I've heard in ages. More proof that Brazil is extremely cool. Hopefully other cities, worldwide, will gradually follow suit, and someday there will be no advertising, anywhere, for anything.

that would be nice. but hard to imagine that it would ever happen. I did like colorado's views on billboards. there were hardly any (by law). it was aways weird driving into a billboad state... so ulgy Posted by: allanimal at Abril 20, 2007 12:40 PM
This is actually incorrect (for now.) Apparently it is only certain billboards that fell under a new city ordinance. We should ask Lenara. I strongly doubt anything like this will happen in the USA. Each billboard generates around $10,000 per year for the person whose property displays the horror. Posted by: at Abril 21, 2007 01:29 AM
