Steev Hise is a mediamaker, activist, and reluctant computer geek, originally from Iowa and recently relocated to Tucson from Portland, Oregon. He did graduate studies in New Media at California Institute of the Arts and has been doing video work since the early 90s.
He is actively involved with the Independent Media Center and the Tucson-based Dry River Radical Resource Center.  
In 2004-2005 Steev made "<a href="http://political.detritus.net/juarez">On The Edge</a>," a documentary about the femicide in Ciudad Juarez and Chihuahua City, Mexico.
