the big mess with moral rights is simply this, in my opinion: while it
seems logic that an author is allowed to block an
interpretation/modification of a song, for example, in my opinion the
fact that a performer/arranger/remixer wants to create a new version of
the original work might be some type of moral right too.

In other words: is it fair to block that guy who wanted to do a reggae
cover of Oasis or the guy who mixes Beatles and Metallica? didn't he
have the (moral) right to "express" his own, personal vision of another
author's work?
