Now I'm thinking of other pop bands that have eventually gone more
experimental. R.E.M. ? Though arguably they went from underground, to
pop, to more undeground again. The most recent stuff made in the past 10
years or so is much more experimental than they were in the 80's, at least
in my opinion.
