[Rumori] proto-mashup question

i was trying to think of any proto-mashup/bastard pop kinds of recordings. can 
i pick your brain?

the earliest i can think of is alan copeland's "mission: impossible theme/
norwegian wood" from 1968. on this, the tv-theme songwriter and arranger for 
basie and fitzgerald has female vocalists sing the lyrics of "norwegian wood" 
over the "mission: impossible" theme. it even won a grammy for best 
contemporary pop performance by a chorus. yikes.

are there any other songs up this alley you can think of?
