blah, 40 bucks to transfer files ??? this is where they make their
money.
and i see now easy way to get accounting records.
apple is not asking for a tape cartridge for every album they have.
and of course AFTER you pay, you find out if your music will even be
selected.
jebus i've seen soooo many music scams thru the years , ever hear of
'taxi' ?
There is a one-time setup of $40 per CD
* There is a lot of encoding and uploading to do for these music service
companies.
* Some require us to mail them hard drives, tape cartridges, or upload
your whole album (up to an hour of uploading time per CD!).
* The $40 is only to reimburse us for all future transfer and delivery
work we'll need to do for the duration of the contract.
* Please note that if you cancel after we start our setup work, we can't
refund your $40.
* If your CD is not in CD Baby already, our original $35 CD Baby set up
still applies. That $35 is for the warehousing and work to have it on
cdbaby.com. This $40 is for the additional work for years of digital
distribution.
all does bring up, can artists get a deal with apple direct ??
