good point. I was requested to write a short article about copy-protected
cds for an Italian website... mentioning the news about a possible
"invasion" of Arista/BMG protected cds in the US in may/june.
After mentioning past flops like the Charley Pride cd and other stuff like
Key2Audio and magic markers, I ended up saying that if you don't care about
digital quality you can still sample the cd from any line out of an ordinary
cd player...

I don't know why a major label should waste money in stupid technologies
like these cd things.
