Whether they want to or not, the way trademark laws work requires
Google to police its mark, or lose it. So even if it may be
bad for business in the short run, they must take action, or some
day when they really need to defend their IP it will be to late.
this explains the behavior of a lot of overly-litiguous
corporations.
