Dear all
I have a video which bears a rounded E in a circle symbol, followed by
the word 'exempt'. The video is of an old UK public information film,
which would have been Crown Copyright in its original form but, from
what I understand, would have been licensed to the film company for this
video release.
But does anyone know what EXACTLY the 'exempt' symbol means? No info is
forthcoming from the UK Patent Office as yet and it's intriguing me too
much to wait around for them.
Many thanks
Mark Blacklock

"...there is much opportunism in the air as people try to charge money for things that were previously free. It's a great scheme: instead of creating new goods and services, simply charge people for existing materials -- whether or not those materials are actually the stuff of culture, society, history, humanity, etc." - Manuel Labor, South to the Future
