Very good points, Nicola, and if the only question was "how
should a lawyer win this case" then we'd be done. but the
auxillary question that Philo brought up was, "why is this lawyer
on this case, when his past behavior seems to possibly indicate
an opposite position?" Some laywers of course just take the
cases that pay a lot of money, but some actually have beliefs and
principles that inform what sorts of clients they work for and
what sorts of cases they involve themselves with.

I'm unsure why you've cc'd Mr Korn without including any of the
preceding messages in the thread unless maybe you've already
forwarded them to him. But anyway if he wants to respond and
explain why he's interested in representing Mr. Newton, that
would be great.
