i have to clarify here, lest i be misrepresented. (forgive me for
interrupting the discussion for a personal matter.) in the context of
my analysis of the 'droplift project', i did say that it seemed to me
this should be the droplifter's position on the matter, that they
were giving something to the world that it needed, they being the
deprived ones, and droplifters being the ones with the real goods.
gunderson's comment makes it sound like that's my general position,
which it is not. thanks for giving me press, just the same.
i do NOT hold to the the position that "we" are "right" and "they"
are "wrong", or even that there is a "way" to be "shown".
i think gunderson's later line is golden, and should become a slogan
(if we can still stomach slogans):
"make a living, not a killing"
sincerely,
Lloyd "making a living, not a killing" Dunn
