that can drop you into a sort of Zen-ish state where you don't have to use
your whole consciousness. One thing I have found over the years, as I've
fought back and forth in this area, is that I tend to have a hard time
leaving enough of my conscious mind out of the day job to allow for enough
energy and thought in my art time as I would like. I think, in fact,
that's how I got into this predicament of having a serious enough day job
that it has virtually eaten all my free bandwidth. So a job like filing,
or dish washing, or moving furniture, or something like that where I didn't
have to actually turn too much of my brain on sounds like a good alternative.

Just seems that way from where I'm sitting.
