This phenomenom is excellent for sample music since it's raising
awareness of intellectual property issues in a fun way, without once
waving a flag or banging a drum about it - it has an accessible and
friendly face and is setting an example by practice alone. This kind
of face will of course be kicked in over the next few months, but the
damage is done now.
However, I think the best thing about this bootleg thing is it's
going to piss off elitist followers of experimental music, who HATE
accessibility, yayyy! Eat that - "Experimental Music Magazine",
journalist and chin stroking whiner. Ha ha ha ha ha ha haaaarrrr!!!!
