I can't believe this hasn't been brought up here yet, but this
actually was discussed on NPR over the weekend.

CORPORAL BLOSSOM presents A MUTATED CHRISTMAS
Continuing the fight against digital copyright restrictions, Illegal Art
teams up with RTMark for the CD "A Mutated Christmas." Armed with 100s of
recordings taken from mp3 sharing, thrift store vinyl, and other sources,
several artists were enlisted to remix and reassemble classic Christmas
songs. What better way to re-educate the world on the true meaning of
musical sharing than by a snappy version of "White Christmas" sung by
multiple artists (Louie Armstrong, Elvis Presley, Bing Crosby, Frank
Sinatra, Diana Ross and The Supremes).
The project was conceived by New York artist Corporal Blossom (who appears
on previous Illegal Art projects "Deconstructing Beck" and "Extracted
Celluloid") and also contains material from other underground musicians
such as DJ Olive, Fognode, No-L, Mom and Daddy, Lustmord, Grassy Knoll,
Lovecraft Technologies, Steven, and DJ Kudzu. Christmas will never be the same.
