Its been my intent to produce "live episodes" of Some Assembly Required on a monthly basis - episodes dedicated to work, produced live, by artists appropriating and creatively manipulating previously recorded work. I've only done two episodes and am already repeating some of the same artists - which isn't a bad thing, unless I'm playing the same nine artists every time I do a live episode.
This is a call for help. I need more live recordings! If you have recordings of live manipulation of sounds appropriated from the media - please get in contact.
