I've been converting them to QT movies with relatively little probs
in Cleaner 5, from the Prelinger archive. Has to be the full version
of 5, not EZ Cleaner for Premiere, so am wondering what the prob is
there. I'm not that experienced with it, only been doing it for a
couple of weeks - will be making my next live set from this archive
since it's free and I don't have to rely on real human beings to send
me stuff so it's not got those annoyances either. Are you converting
the full size movies or the avi files?
