Yes you CAN be sure others are listening to the same station. (Can you
imagine listening to a radio station to which NO ONE else is listening at
that moment? Ain't gonna happen, EVER.
The unknowable specific accident of who and how many is part of why it's
both exciting (you are most likely NOT preaching to the choir entirely) and
carries the surprise potential (for you as well as them because when they
let you know who's listening, it's often a surprise.)
