He used to cohost a show with the cartoonist Tony Mostrom on KPFK that was
inexplicably called "The Tom and Tony Show." One of the things they would
sometimes do was manually mix music on the studio's turntables, calling
these mixes "holocausts." I actually have one of them taped and, yes,
converted it to an 11mg mp3, which is far more webspace than I have.
