Yes, but I'm going beyond these functional categories of tried sound to say
that each of them have been thoroughly explored as to possible TYPES within
it - the vibration of every kind of string or wire or rubber band or
whatever, as well as every possible length up to a distance where weight
suppresses vibration, and the results of vibrating all these against every
type of material, etc. Given possibilities, human are incredibly thorough
at exhausting them over time. Music is not immune to this tendency.
