basically it works by encrypting and mirroring files all
over the internet on different servers, so no one, not even
the owners of the servers, knows where a file is actually
physically located. therefore no one can censor or prohibit
any content.

which leads to Jay's comment in his last post
exhorting me to "get that server up" - it doesn't depend on
any one server, that's the beauty of it. if I or Detritus
participates or not, Freenet is there, ready to be used.
So everyone go for it....
