I was saying that for myself, the prank isn't as important.
Though as I said, I think there are as many reasons for this as
there are people participating.

It's not going to be marketed as Droplift II, I thought that was
made clear already. Droplifting will be its method of distribution, which
by the way, was going on with artists previous to the Droplift Project
itself. However, I do feel as though Droplifting is more of a movement
than a single CD. Richard Holland has done it in Chicago before this
project ever started, and many guitar rock bands locally have subscribed
to the same method of distribution. Only Richard named it "droplifting,"
which is quite catchy. I figure go with it.
I've had many people agree and disagree with that. I guess you and I
will respectfully disagree.
I don't know about how big of a deal it is. I think it's fun, and yet I
think it's important that we do what we can to get our stuff heard.

You seem all worked up over this, and I can't imagine you
honestly believe I think this project will smash the corporate controlelrs
of culture. I don't know what I've said to imply that to you. Perhaps I
am not the naive one.
