Lloyd's take on the project does make it sound more
interesting. Performed in the exaggerated manner in which
he suggests, it takes on a better aura, in my mind.
Furthermore, if the "droplift" concept WERE the entire
thrust, in otherwords, if the idea were more pure, I think I
would have less of a problem with it. I like Lloyd's idea
of leaving Droplift bin cards - plus, what if no one knew
what exactly was on the disc, or if it were several discs by
different people, but all identically unlabelled?
blank-faced CDs with absolutely no packaging, just a clear
jewelcase? Now that would be cool. An entire Droplifted
genre; press releases stating that you won't be told
what's on the disc, but you're guaranteed to benefit from
this act of cultural charity.
