that's right. the original version of Steve Albini's article appeared in
Maximum Rock and Roll magazine (issue #133, circa 1994).
In 1995 a condensed reprint by MRR hit the magazine shelves and it was
called,
"Major Labels - Some of your Friends are already this fucked" and it had a
picture of a gun in a kid's mouth on the cover. The best part of it is a 2
page fold out centerfold of "The Big Six" and "Who Owns What".

Albini's orginal article was called, "The Problem with Music"

Courtney Love got her template from Albini's article no doubt.
I like the way Courtney "appropriated" Albini's text. =)
