According to the strict definition of a plunderphone, no.
Simply re-performing another's work is not plunderphonic - that term
refers to actually appropriating and working with a specific recording.
That's what it's all about. otherwise you might say, for example, that
the Beatles' early covers of Chuck Berry songs were "plunderphonia".
They were, in a way, theft (that's another story), and they were "recycled
culture" (yet another story), but they weren't plunderphonic.
