Hello folks,
My employer (CalArts) received another fax from Dupont today, full of
material that still is still up on the web and a request that CalArts
"have it removed."
At the top of the pile of things to be removed, my response
page documenting Dupont's actions of last week, located
at the former site of the original "offending" page:
http://plagiarist.org/acquisitions.html
No word yet on whether I'll actually be asked by CalArts to take the
response down; I spoke today to an outside attorney who didn't feel there
was any legal problem with the response page. Since the page simply
documents what actually happened, it may be that Dupont is not happy to
have their actions publicly documented.
The rest of the pile sent by Dupont consisted of web search engine
listings and some evidently cached pages, neither of which I have control
over.
