A Toy Information Site has linked to Detrivore Tom Forsythe's site (that features "Food Chain Barbie") from its Barbie page. They seem to actually know what they're linking to, also, judging from the detailed synopsis that goes with the link. So the site appears to be more than just a portal for mindless consumerism. Good news.
Posted by steev at March 10, 2005 02:46 PMhey steev. i checked out the page. there are a lot of other -- for lack of a better term -- "non-commercial" links on there, so i kinda suspected what i would find at the end of the page, namely an "add your site" button.
so it would seem that, at minimum, a "food chain barbie" fan added the link, and (a) links go onto the page unchecked [a surprising lack of security and/or show of trust by the site], or (b) the person who is checking the additions is pretty open-minded.
regardless, its pretty cool to see all the alternative barbie links there. lets hope we arent jinxing it with this post!
